From smoke and pet free cabins, to above ground septic and instant-hot water systems. We use organic cleaning products and 100% pure essential oils in our room fragrance. All beds and pillows are hypoallergenic. Our linen service uses hypoallergenic processes to keep our guest experience top notch! Rules: Smoking is permitted on the grounds in "smoking areas." However, smoking within 15 feet of a cabin is not allowed. When smoke drifts into the cabins it requires us to clean the walls and ceilings in order to get the residue off the pine tongue and groove interior. Spend time in beautiful, quaint Belmont! Just 22 minutes from the Charlotte airport, 7 minutes from downtown Belmont, and 15 minutes from the South Carolina border. This two story house sits on 2 acres of land and is right on the lake with some of the best views ever. It's a great getaway for friends or a perfect place for families! And if you're looking for fun on the lake, there are local companies that rent pontoon boats and kayaks. COVID UPDATE -- We’ve been very careful to keep our house clean and safe for all of our guests. There is a 12 person max on the property at all times and we are taking that very seriously. We’re trying to keep our family safe and healthy and yours. We do require a three night minimum during our high season (May through Labor Day). As for our house, the bottom floor offers a lot of privacy from the top floor. There is a master bedroom on each floor. Each floor also has its own living room and gas fireplace with a 60 inch TV. Upstairs is the main level and it has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All of the bedrooms upstairs had new carpet put in a year ago. There’s one bedroom, one bathroom, and one futon in the downstairs area as well as a separate room with a pool table and bunk bed. There are six beds and a futon so the house can sleep 10 people total. Guests have access to the entire house and the entire property except for the garage, and four closets. But we have parking right in front of the house. And there are many other available closets. Each floor also has a large covered deck facing the lake with chairs and tables. There's a dock by the lake with chairs and an area for laying out. If you rent a boat, you can tie it up to our dock. (The boat lift is not for guests; it's solely for storing a boat in the winter). On the side of the house is a large patio with more sitting areas and a new gas grill. **If you want to use the grill, you must clean it at the end of your stay. Anyone who doesn't clean it will be charged an extra $50 cleaning fee. ** It should be noted that the house does have an interior camera by each lakeside entrance in our common areas. So two interior cameras total. There are no other interior cameras. They are unplugged while guests are there. Anyone is welcome to also cover them should that make them feel more comfortable. ** There is an exterior camera in the driveway area outside. That camera remains on. There’s also a Ring doorbell. ***This is not a party house. If you're looking for that, we are not the place for you. We have a very strict no event or party policy. No more than 12 people are allowed on the property at at all times (both day and night). Even if you are inviting guests over, the property cannot exceed more than 12 people. ****If you are planning to work remotely, it should be reiterated that we are in a small town and on the lake so sometimes the internet connection is just fine and sometimes it is weak or slow. We have no problem with basic internet needs but a strong enough signal for regular Zoom calls and such are not guaranteed. Cell phone reception is usually just fine.

(Please call for reservation in advance: 704.912.5400) The following cabins are all family style studio suites with a huge connected deck. Cabin #20, #21, #22, #23, and #24. There is an assigned parking space for you a few feet from your cabin. If you have more than one vehicle, we can accommodate it in a nearby parking lot for an additional $25. The private beach is available for you to enjoy swimming year around. (Although only the bravest will be jumping in post October… you know who you are…) There is a 2,000 square-foot patio with picnic tables and BBQ Grills available for your use throughout your stay. (Charcoal & Gas are not provided) For your convenience we have a fully remodeled bathhouse across from the pool. In the winter months getting cozy by the fire on the beach or taking a stroll through the woods is a wonderful way to relax and soak in the holiday season. Guest Access: Stop by the office upon arrival to pick up your keys. For your convenience our office is open from 10 AM - 7 PM / 7 days a week. Upon your arrival we will give you a warm welcome and provide you with a all access pass to the club with wrist band that are yours to keep. The Neighborhood: Although tucked into the woods on the lakefront, you will find yourself close to all your favorite things to do in Charlotte and the Lake Wylie area. We are in the Steele Creek neighborhood surrounded by great places to shop and eat. From smoke and pet free cabins, to above ground septic and instant-hot water systems. We use organic cleaning products and 100% pure essential oils in our room fragrance. All beds and pillows are hypoallergenic. Our linen service uses hypoallergenic processes to keep our guest experience top notch! Rules: Smoking is permitted on the grounds in "smoking areas." When smoke drifts into the cabins it requires us to clean the walls and ceilings in order to get the residue off the pine tongue and groove interior. We've also collected plenty of games we store under the bar for both kids and adults that's sure to keep everyone entertained! Also located on the main level, we have our fully stocked kitchen with all the utensils needed to make a great meal. You'll adore the indoor breakfast nook and dining room as they both are complete with gorgeous lake views. If you prefer to dine outside, we have outdoor dining tables on both the upper and lower decks. We just added a brand new patio set in addition to the sets we already had. (Charcoal & Gas are not provided) For your convenience we have a fully remodeled bathhouse across from the pool. In the winter months getting cozy by the fire on the beach or taking a stroll through the woods is a wonderful way to relax and soak in the holiday season. Guest Access: Stop by the office upon arrival to pick up your keys. For your convenience our office is open from 10 AM - 7 PM / 7 days a week. Upon your arrival we will give you a warm welcome and provide you with a all access pass to the club with wrist band that are yours to keep. The Neighborhood: We are 6 miles from Carowinds Theme Park. (SOOOOOOO much fun for kids of all ages) We are 20 min from the US White Water Center. AMAZING OUTDOOR ADVENTURES. There is a great shopping area called Steele Creek Shopping Center which is located about 8 minutes away. Great restaurants including my personal favorite, The Wine Shop, Target, CVS, pizza places and more. You are sure to find everything you need close by. Getting Around: The best way to get around is to bring a personal vehicle, rent a car, or use Uber or another Taxi service. Things to Note: Please note that our cabins are tiny houses. They are built much like an RV. This is done to protect the environment from permanent impact. Everything we do at Long Cove is done with respect for the environment. From smoke and pet free cabins, to above ground septic and instant-hot water systems. We use organic cleaning products and 100% pure essential oils in our room fragrance. All beds and pillows are hypoallergenic. Our linen service uses hypoallergenic processes to keep our guest experience top notch! Rules: Smoking is permitted on the grounds in "smoking areas." However, smoking within 15 feet of a cabin is not allowed. When smoke drifts into the cabins it requires us to clean the walls and ceilings in order to get the residue off the pine tongue and groove interior. To keep our environment safe for all our guests, please respect the rules or you will be asked to leave without a refund and charged a $250 deep cleaning fee.
